How We Measure And Make Fitted Wardrobes?

Smiths one of the leading Fitted Wardrobes from London, United Kingdom providing you all the details of  measuring and making fitted wardrobes with the very good example, which is mentioned below:

Let us Explain you by an Example, So that it can be easily understand by you.

For Example: You have 3100 mm wall & 2500 mm of ceiling height, where you need to install fitted wardrobes.

(1 cm = 10 mm ) (1 inch = 2.54 cm) ( 1 foot = 12 Inches) (3 meter = 10 feet)

You will have Fillets on both the sides, Skirting, Fillet on top and wardrobes to make fitted wardrobes.

Fillet: Fillet should be at least 50 mm on both sides.

We have 3100 mm - 100 mm = 3000 mm left space

Wardrobes: You can see 3000 mm space left so you can have 1000 mm x 3 wardrobes = 3000 mm (Width wise, We can do any size of wardrobe from 250 mm to 1250 mm because we provide made to measure services with not extra prices)

Top Gap: Now for top Gap you need at least 100 mm so the wardrobe height will be 2500 mm - 100 mm = 2400 mm ( top gap can vary from 80 mm to 150 mm depending upon requirement). We can do maximum panel height up to 2800 mm , so whatever you ceiling height is we can do your wardrobes.

Skirting: Skirting for bottom again shall be again 100 mm. Height of wardrobe will be 2400 mm - 100 mm = 2300 mm. (Skirting can be vary too from 80 mm to 150 mm or more depending upon customer's requirement)

Depth: Standard depth of the wardrobes are 580 mm . Though we give bespoke services at no extra cost we can do depth of wardrobes from 300 mm to 700 mm depending on customer requirements.
